Three factors: 1) urban planning allowing massive extensions on virgin land, 2) strategic position on Route 6 (Tel Aviv in 45 min), 3) very low prices compared to traditional Sharon. The city grew from 10,000 to 30,000 inhabitants in 15 years and continues its growth.

Highway 6 (trans-Israeli) 3 km away. Tel Aviv in 35-45 min. No railway station in Kfar Yona itself, but Netanya-Poleg station 15 min away. A future Kfar Yona station is under study (2028-2030 horizon). For now, a car is essential.

Kfar Yona is more demographically mixed, more urbanized for longer, with immediate proximity to Netanya (12 min, full services). For a secular or moderately religious family, Kfar Yona is often more suitable.
