Real Estate Kfar Yona — city in strong expansion in the Sharon

Kfar Yona is a city in the Sharon in full expansion, with about 30,000 inhabitants in 2026 (compared to 10,000 in 2010). Located 10 km northeast of Netanya and 35 km from Tel Aviv, it perfectly illustrates the new generation of Israeli cities in planned growth: recent urban planning, new schools, large-scale infrastructure, still attractive prices. A strategic choice for first-time buyers and investors.

Founded in 1932 by pioneers from Poland, Kfar Yona long remained a small agricultural moshav specializing in citrus fruits. Its name means "village of Yona" (the prophet Jonah) or according to other versions "village of the dove". The urban turning point took place in the 2010s, with reclassification as a city and the launch of major master plans to support demographic growth. The population has tripled in 15 years, and the municipal goal is to reach 60,000 inhabitants in the next decade.

Today, Kfar Yona is a city with a strong family and modern religious (dati leumi) dominance, with a young population, expanding school infrastructure (numerous public and religious schools delivered since 2015), and a commercial offering that is gradually expanding. Major residential projects (Pardes Chaim, Pe'at HaKfar, new Eliezer) offer new properties at accessible prices compared to Netanya or Kfar Saba.

The most sought-after neighborhoods

Pardes Chaim — new flagship neighborhood in the northeast, deliveries since 2018. Modern 5-8 story buildings, parks, new schools. Young family profile.

Pe'at HaKfar — extension in full delivery, with numerous Mehir LaMishtaken programs. First-time buyer opportunities at subsidized prices.

Kfar Yona Vatikim (historic center) — the old heart with individual houses on large plots, more modest apartments. Lower prices, renovation potential.

Giv'at Yaniv and Neve Yaniv — established neighborhoods, mix of villas and recent buildings.

The eastern and southern extensions — phases in progress with deliveries until 2028. New opportunities for patient investors.
