A city looking to the future
Founded in 1924, Herzliya grew within a single decade to become the 8th largest Jewish city under the British Mandate. It was granted official city status in 1960.
Today, Herzliya ranks among the most affluent municipalities in the Sharon region. The western part of the city, Herzliya Pituach, is home to the most exclusive residences and boasts some of the highest per-capita income levels in the country.
Technology and business hub
Herzliya Pituach hosts one of Israel's leading high-tech hubs, with offices of numerous multinational technology companies and startups. The rapidly expanding business district is a major economic engine for both the city and the country.
The seafront features premium hotels, fine-dining restaurants, a modern marina, and various leisure attractions. It is a popular retreat for Israelis and international tourists alike.
Real estate in Herzliya
Herzliya's real estate market is divided between the more affordable eastern neighborhoods and Herzliya Pituach to the west, where prices rival those of Tel Aviv.
Herzliya Pituach attracts a wealthy international clientele, offering luxury beachfront villas and upscale apartments. The marina district features modern residences with harbor views.
Its proximity to Tel Aviv (15 minutes), the high-tech zones, and Ben Gurion Airport makes Herzliya a highly sought-after place of residence for executives and entrepreneurs.
