Herzliya, named after Benjamin Ze'ev Herzl (1860-1904), the founder of the Jewish state of Israel, is located north of Tel Aviv and is renowned for being a residential area and one of the wealthiest cities in Israel due to its high per capita income, particularly in the western part of the city.

This new Jewish city was established in 1924, and a decade later it had already become the 8th largest Jewish city in the highly reputed Mandatoric Israel.
The city gradually developed and was granted city status in 1960. Today, it is considered one of the most flourishing cities in the Sharon region.

Located on the flat shores of the Mediterranean Sea, the city features high-class hotels and restaurants, with a modern marina and other attractions.
The growth of the new business district, one of the most significant for its importance in high-tech and business sectors, is one of the greatest hopes for the future of this sparkling city.
